Gillian Jason Gallery
Listed as job no.699 in Eric Gill’s ledger. He gave a brass cast to five members of his Guild of St. Joseph and St. Dominic at Ditchling. This example was given to his chief assistant, Joseph Cribb. Christ wears a long robe and crown: the image of a heart is incised on Christ’s breast, making this figure also Christ the Sacred Heart.
