JHW Fine Art is an independent art dealer and consultant, specialising in modern British and contemporary art: also buying and selling work on behalf of clients, either by private sale, or through auction.

About: after a little learning at the University of Manchester, and an apprenticeship at Phillips Auctioneers, I worked at Austin/Desmond Fine Art and the Albemarle Gallery in the early 1990s. Before setting up JHW Fine Art, I spent a few years as a freelance curator, with exhibitions including British Sporting Heroes at the National Portrait Gallery, Images of Christ at St Paul’s Cathedral, and Centenary for the National Trust.
