Exhibition History: exhib hist An extremely rare and distinguished London Underground poster for the Cup Final at the two year old Wembley stadium, between Bolton Wanderers and Manchester City. These posters were never saved or cherished: either glued to the wall or thrown away unused, few would have survived. As far as the artist’s family are aware, there is only one other known example, in the London Transport Museum. A major figure in the world of commercial art, illustration, mural painting, stained glass and design, Eric Fraser worked extensively for publishers, advertising agencies and British corporations.
