T.W (Bill) Ward studied at the Royal College of Art immediately after demobilisation from the army in 1946. He trained as an engraver and etcher, and remained a specialist in these fields all his working life. He also illustrated a number of books and articles. From 1950, he taught at Harrow School of Art, becoming Director of Studies. |
