This watercolour was made on the spot in Iceland, where the artist was working, thanks to a Villiers David Travel Prize
Ruth Stage graduated from the Royal Academy Schools in 1995, since when her work has been in constant demand from galleries and collectors; she has also received numerous awards and prizes. She has exhibited at the Royal Academy, the New English Art Club (where she was recently elected a member), and has held seven solo exhibitions in London. Her work is in several important corporate collections.
