Born in Kirkintilloch, Willie Rodger is Scotland's most established linocut printmaker. He is widely represented in Scottish museums and collections, and has received many awards for his printmaking. After studying at Glasgow School of Art, he has held numerous solo exhibitions of paintings and prints in Edinburgh and Glasgow, including a retrospective at the University of Strathclyde. For 20 years, he was art teacher at Clydebank High Shool, and is also a painter, muralist and tapestry designer.
