.shows new work in his Bohemian powerhouse style: his encrusted and cluttered suburban kitchen gardens might surprise anybody who really thinks London looks like Blow-Up. Far too busy to keep cool, he paints the flesh of a West Indian immigrant model in green, magenta and Winsor & Newton tint. But his vision is too insistent to be just corny, and there is a certain largesse to the exhuberance of his lower-middle-class vision..
